What our clients say
Myself and my partner have just completed a 2 day training course with Mark 'The ShaveDoctor'
I have always been nervous of the cut throat razor, even though i have been a barber for over 20 years! But Mark did exactly what he said he would and took that fear away from me.
Since then we have been so busy with shaves, it is almost unbelievable, Tom (my partner) has been shaving all week and i have been cutting hair.
I am also using the cut throat razor on the necks now and my customers love it, which is also a little touch i can now offer, thanks to Mark!
The feedback we have had is unreal.... 'best shave i have ever had' and 'i shall be in every week from now on and tell everyone at work' and so on.......
We cannot express how amazing this guy is and his training is more than 1st class! He is professional, patient and understanding and takes time to care about everyone and everything he does.
He generally enjoys helping others and passing on his knowledge, and nothing is too much trouble. The only thing we could of asked more of is ..... THAT IF MARK WORKED FOR US!

Shaving Problem:
"Hi Shavedoctor could you please give me some advice on shaving please?
First I shave down then up then sidewards and I always end up with a rash and shaving spots under my neck area" – I currently use Nivea shave gel and Gillette Sensor.
Solution: Shavedoctor shaving products and shaving tips.
Feedback from Consumer:
"Thank you, you are a legend - you are the Shavedoctor! I’ve had a shave this morning with the Shavedoctor products and no rash or hardly any spots at all and my skin and face feels really fresh and smooth, I used the oil and the shave crème – you also said that John Lewis sells the Shavedoctor products are they available to buy now because am going to my nearest city centre store in Sheffield and will be stocking up on it."

The Shave Doctor 5 minute wet shave
The Shavedoctor 5 Minute Shave
* Soak your face and neck in hot water for 10 seconds as this will open the skin’s pores enabling the shaving product to soften the root hair. (10 seconds)
* Massage shaving oil into the shaving area before applying shave crème as this will help with the glide of the razor and significantly reduce razor burn a contributory factor due to shaving too quickly and without much protection. (20 seconds)
* Apply a thick shave crème product either with a brush (recommended) or with your fingers, the lather should be very creamy. (20 seconds)
* Shave your face to start with and then move to your neck shaving each side first before shaving down under your chin. Shave your chin by shaving across and the top lip should be shaved in the downward direction. (90 seconds)
* Now apply more shaving crème (this is why a brush and a small shaving bowl is ideal). (20 seconds)
* Repeat the shave process by now shaving against the hair growth but remembering to keep your face well lathered. (90 seconds)
* Splash and rinse off the shaving product with cold water (colder the better as this will cool the skin and close the pores) (10 seconds)
* Now splash your face and neck with hot water which will re open the skin’s pores as this will help absorb the aftershave balm more deeply and quickly. (30 seconds)
